In a fairly short period of time Jos managed to bring out my unconscious motivations and sadness. This alone provided relief, where Jos also gave insight into possible connections between events without jumping to conclusions. This gave room for exploring the motivations and underlying grief (thank you!). I always enjoyed the conversations with Jos, he is very engaging with clear observations and nice humor. She came up with Mindpring and I decided to take the gamble. Wow! A whole new world really opened up for me at the intake. No matter how high I had built the wall for myself, Jos pierced through everything so easily. What was a relief for me is that it was not the study that caused me problem but just the drop. Within three sessions all my blockages were above water and I had tools I could work with. From the moment I walked out the door until today I feel happy, joyful and comfortable in my own skin. With colleagues of Jos, I had already made great strides in my personal and professional growth in the first two years of the training. Through Jos, I was led to my inner strength in surprising ways. Seemingly &#8220;ordinary&#8221; talks had deep impact, with influences of Milton Erickson and Ernest Rossi clearly recognisable, and now also personally experienced by me as highly effective. The sessions of ideomotor response have had an impressive effect: I have been able to let go of obstructing ballast and dormant qualities have come to light and can now confidently unfold further. I was suffering from fears, which I could see were more intense than necessary. I couldn&#8217;t put my finger on that myself. What triggered it and why was the feeling so intense. With Jos, I learned to look at what was really happening and what it triggered in old pain. That link to past painful memories caused the intense non-real fears in the now. With talking, clarifying, EMDR sessions, that worked out very well. I experienced working with Jos as particularly pleasant, calm, safe and with the necessary humour. At first I found it very difficult to go, because I preferred not to talk about it. But after I had been there I actually found it very pleasant. Jos helps me with my travel anxiety. I got this travel anxiety because I have a heart arrhythmia. I often worry a lot when I shouldn&#8217;t, Jos helps me realise that I need to become aware of myself and not be anxious. When I indicate what I am anxious about, Jos says to me &#8221;Anne what can happen now?&#8221;. And if I then start thinking very deeply, nothing can actually happen either but I only think this. Now when I get anxious, I always think what Jos asks me and then I often realise that I shouldn&#8217;t think too much because it&#8217;s precisely the thoughts that make me anxious that make me anxious. The conversations have helped me a lot, and when I notice that things are not going so well again, I can always turn to Jos. I got this travel anxiety because I have a heart arrhythmia. I often worry a lot when I shouldn&#8217;t, Jos helps me realise that I need to become aware of myself and not be anxious. When I indicate what I am anxious about, Jos says to me &#8221;Anne what can happen now?&#8221;. And if I then start thinking very deeply, nothing can actually happen either but I only think this.
